Welcome to the weekly oh! nènè microgreens update, where we talk about the latest information on our microgreens journey. We started experimenting with microgreens in March 2021 and found the process fascinating. As we discover the wonderful world of microgreens, we feel inclined to share with you our progress.

New logo!

Our first logo was DIY and temporary, and we knew we had to move forward from it eventually. We contacted the creative studio Linx Studio from Brussels to get a logo that spoke about the feeling we wanted to transmit with our brand. So Diana from Linx Studio took us on the creative journey and crafted the final logo that we love!

We love our new logo and are very proud of it! It makes us feel like new parents!

New microgreens to our roster

A couple of weeks ago, we started microgreens of four new types, Cress, Purple Kohlrabi, Red Mizuna, and Speckled Pea. After seeing the results of these microgreens, we decided to add them to our catalogue, which you can find on our dedicated microgreens page.

Here we want to explain what we found interesting about these microgreens:

Cress is unique in taste, and we know many people enjoy its pungy and spicy flavour. Cress also has a different leaf structure that makes it unique amongst the other microgreens we grow.

Purple Kohlrabi tastes similar to Broccoli Calabrese. However, its intense green leaves and purple stems make it a great addition to our roster to add some variety. Also essential are the nutritional properties of Purple Kohlrabi microgreens, a source of vitamins A, C, E, and magnesium, manganese and potassium.

Red Mizuna has a beautiful leaf colour that makes it unique amongst our roster, with a combination of purple and green blending in perfect harmony. It is also similar to Broccoli Calabrese, and it is a source of vitamins A, C, E, and manganese and potassium.

Lastly, Speckled Pea was a fun crop to grow with its long stems and bright greens. It is sweet and resembles the taste of a pea!

Microgreens update

Our weekly giveaway is Broccoli Calabrese!

We grew four trays of Broccoli Calabrese microgreens, and we were happy to give them away to anyone interested in trying them. Several people came to try our microgreens, and we are pleased to say that we ran out of them quite quickly!

We won’t be growing more trays to give away now, as we are nearing our service launch!
